  • Shuanshuan is likely based on the Yellow Emperor Shuanyuan 軒轅, with "yuan"'s pronunciation being the same as "Apeman" in Chinese. Moreover, the place where the Emperor was born called 有熊, 熊 itself meaning bear. The one who is next to ShuanShuan at the end is Kuafu, who resembles a bear. At last, people believe that the Yellow Emperor is one of the founders of Taoism, which is befitting - the person who has influenced ShuanShuan the most in the game is Yi, who is technically a Taoist Priest.
  • According to the game developers, Shuanshuan was supposed to be super energetic and ran around all of New Kunlun during the game's development stage.
